After much consternation and strife, I now have internet in my new house. I found out that living in a "historic" home can present certain problems as far as what the cable guy is and is not willing to do in order to help me connect to the outside world. But now all is well and I am much happier finding where things are around town now that I have Yahoo Yellow Pages and Google Maps again.
I have been in this house two weeks as of tomorrow and it is still pretty much a mess. I got the kitchen unpacked and tidied (even got some curtains up, which makes me happy). However, in our last house Steve built some FABULOUS built-in bookshelves for all of our books.

ed, we took all our books and now we have no bookshelves. Just boxes and boxes of reading material. The movers stacked a bunch of the boxes in the middle of the living room and in my condition I can't really do much about them. Other things need to be moved around and rearranged, but the Belly is preventing me from doing a lot of that, too. So I am really excited for Steve to get here and help me get organized (although that's definitely not the only reason I'm excited about living with my husband again!).

I know that I still have a long way to go, but it is so exciting and a little scary to only have three months left. Now is the time for childbirth classes and nursery preparations!

hope steve comes soon to help you. sounds like you are settling in bit by bit. i can't believe you are already in your third trimester! goes quickly for all of us on the outside!
Glad things are going well! I remember how frustrating it was moving and not being unable to help or unpack because of the belly being in the way, not to mention not having the energy! (We moved when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant.) Well good luck with everything! Looking forward to hearing more about all the changes!
Hi Jodi, we saw Kevin and Sarah last week and they let me know about your blog. Congrats on the new kid. We are in the beginning process of moving right now. No baby on the way but we do have a 3 year old.
