Really cute Jodi! I've been working on clothes for the girls esp., long flannel nightgowns that are so cute and cozy, but a quilt is the next project I want to do. Have you found it very difficult for a beginner?
I really like the fabrics you chose!

Vic, if you can sew a straight line with a 1/4 inch seam, quilting is not hard at all. I was a complete beginning sewer when I started quilting, and I still think it is super easy for the most part.

There are things that I've had to get better at, things on my first quilt that look AWFUL, and I'm sure I'll always be improving, but if you have good command of your sewing machine it's not a stretch at all to quilt unless you start talking about doing designs with circles and complex stuff.

I recommend a book by Alex Anderson called _Start Quilting_ and there are a ton of fabulous quilting blogs with tutorials on them: Crazy Mom Quilts, Oh Fransson, and Film in the Fridge are my favorite quilting blogs. Because we all have time to read more blogs, right?!
