So, I'm looking at my local library's website, looking for the Baby and Me story time, and I find this:

Playstation 2. Video game time. At the library. Instead of homework*. Someone please get me a fainting couch.
*I know all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and all that, but if a kid is going to venture out of the house to go to the library, please for the love of books encourage him to read something!

wow! that is really bad! do they think it will trick teens into liking the library, in the hopes that someday they'll go there for books?
hey, mike found out about a reunion for class of '98. i think it's in august at Cuesta Park. i'll get the info from him if you are interested! it'd be fun to see you... but i know it would be traveling a ways.
